Air Conditioning Products
1) Central Air & Heat Pump system
To explain it a little bit more, by using electricity, refrigerant will flow from the indoor and outdoor unit through a closed system of refrigeration lines. A fan within your indoor unit will pull the warm air from your house through ductwork at which the refrigerant is pumped from the outdoor unit into the indoor evaporator coil. The evaporator coil absorbs the heat from the air. The cool air is then pushed through your ductwork and out the opened vents that are on your wall or floor. This cycle continues until the desired set temperature on the thermostat is reached.
2) Mini Split System
In this application much like the Central Air & Heat Pump System you will have one or multiple outdoor units. This will be dependent on the size, or where in your house you are wanting to. So, what makes these units so different? We use Fujitsu systems; these systems are ductless systems. Yes, you heard it right, ductless. We find these to be very popular in our area where we may be working on a pre-existing home that does not have the space to put in an entire ductwork system. These systems also eliminate the need for having an Evaporator coil unit in your basement or attic. The Fujitsu system works by using thin copper tubing that pushes refrigerant through your house & walls. This process is carefully and professionally installed into your house by choosing a wall mounted, floor mounted, or ceiling cassette option. By using this ductless technology another great benefit is that you save more money. Traditional duct central air systems could account for approximately 30% of your energy consumption. With the Fujitsu system installed by KMB Plumbing, Electrical & HVAC this is a perfect solution to a problem you thought you had.
Our installation process can take anywhere from a few days up to approximately 3 weeks. This timeframe given is really dependent on which of the above-mentioned system you choose from. For a more accurate timeframe, KMB Plumbing, Electrical & HVAC will remain in communication with you throughout this process. Allow us to help you start the Free Estimate process today.
